Dungeon Master: Theron's Quest is a modified version of the original Dungeon Master for the PC Engine/TurboGrafx-CD, released in 1992 and 1993. It features a new story where the player controls Theron, a shepherd, and three other champions to recover seven artifacts from seven smaller dungeons, rather than one large dungeon. The game was made "lighter" by simplifying the gameplay, with features like loss of all companion skills and items between dungeons, a restricted save system, and the removal of some creatures and spells.
