The King of Fighters 2000 for PlayStation 2 is a 2D fighting game that expands on the "Striker" system, allowing players to summon assist characters to extend combos or control space. It features a large roster, team-based combat, and introduces optional "Another Strikers" for more strategic play. While it continues the NESTS saga, the gameplay, polished presentation, and ability to recognize classic SNK characters as strikers are its core strengths, making it a solid, if sometimes unbalanced, entry in the series
