Kagero: Darkside Princess (also known as Deception IV: Blood Ties) is a trap-setting strategy game for the PlayStation 3 and Vita where the player controls Laegrinna, the daughter of a demon god, on a quest to collect Holy Verses to resurrect her father. To achieve this, she must lure human enemies, or "saints" and their descendants, into a variety of deadly and sadistic traps, such as spike rooms and pendulums, to inflict agony and gather the verses. The game's core gameplay involves strategically placing and combining traps to create elaborate combos to defeat enemies, with a heavy emphasis on violence and suggestive themes.
