Gundam Battle Chronicle for the PSP is a third-person, mission-based shooter that lets players pilot over 140 mobile suits from the Universal Century timeline across three distinct eras: the original Gundam, Stardust Memories, and the D Gundam Era. Players choose either the Earth Federation or the Zeon faction, select between normal and Newtype pilots with psychic powers, and engage in story and side missions to earn points to upgrade their chosen mobile suit's weapons, armor, and special abilities. The game also features a ranking system, a gallery mode, and local wireless multiplayer in its VS Operation Mode.
