Gregory Horror Show: Soul Collector is a unique survival horror game for the PlayStation 2 where players, guided by Death, must collect bottled souls from the hotel's bizarre guests by spying on them to learn their routines and weaknesses. Unlike traditional survival horror, there is no combat; instead, players stealthily retrieve souls, which turns the once-fleeing guests into hostile pursuers who will attack if they catch the player by forcing them to watch a disturbing "Horror Show". The game features distinct cube-like character designs from the anime, a controllable camera, and a "mental gauge" that can be drained by the darkness and replenished by items.
