Digimon World Re:Digitize for the PSP is a raising simulation RPG set in the Digital World, where players control protagonist Taiga, who is transported from an online game into the real Digital World. The game involves raising a Digimon companion from a baby stage, feeding it, training it, and nurturing it through five growth stages by meeting stat requirements to prevent it from dying or evolving into the undesirable Numemon. Players explore a world similar to the first Digimon World game, battling and recruiting other Digimon to rebuild a city, while the narrative focuses on the protagonist's ability to "Decode" and save both the Digital and Real worlds.
