Dead to Rights II for PS2 is a third-person action shooter and a prequel to the original game, following Jack Slate and his K-9 companion, Shadow, as they investigate the kidnapping of a judge and a corrupt crime syndicate in Grant City. The game features a mix of shooting and melee combat, a slow-motion "dive" system, and the ability to use Shadow in combat to attack enemies, disarm them, or retrieve weapons.
