Capcom Fighting Evolution is a crossover fighting game for the Xbox and PlayStation 2 that features characters from Street Fighter II, Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter III, Darkstalkers, and the original arcade title Red Earth. The game allows players to select a team of two characters who retain their original moves and mechanics from their respective series, switching between them between rounds. It was originally released as Capcom Fighting Jam in Japan and Europe and includes an original character named Ingrid, comic book-style endings, and fan-service cameos in the backgrounds.
