Armored Core: Formula Front (known as Formula Front: Extreme Battle in the West) is a PSP game focused on building and customizing unmanned Armored Core units (u-ACs) and programming their artificial intelligence (AI) for 1v1 arena battles, rather than direct combat. Players act as "mech masters" or "architects," overseeing teams of five ACs in a worldwide Formula Front league, facing rivals and climbing the ranks. The Western release added a direct combat mode to the AI-controlled original, offering a blend of strategy and action.
